Capacitors and Varistors, a Dual Component solution from Keko Varicon.

Keko Varicon is a company specialized in Automotive Electronics and is now supplying its products to numerous major premium car brands. As a manufacturer of a passive over-voltage protective components it covers Tier 2 and Tier 3 producers of automotive electronics.

One area of specific concern is that of EMI noise and the reduction/elimination of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI).

As a direct result of developments to support the Automotive Industry, Keko have built up a range of both Through Hole and SMD Dual components.

These comprise a Varistor and Capacitor assembly, which, by design, eliminate transients and noise generated by DC motors.

The OV and MV (Radial and SMD) ranges can operate form 2 volt to 95, depending on Ampere ratings, and can offer capacitances from 10Nf thru to 1.5uf.

The C3V series, which eliminates EMI and voltage disturbance on DC Brush Motors ranges from 14 to 40 Volts, with capacitances from 1nF to 1000Nf. It is now also being used in multiple applications for Surge Protection and Broad-band frequency noise suppression.

Available to AECQ and also available as RoHS Compliant,  these devices are now specified by many of the world’s largest manufacturers.
