Nikkohm

DMTL is a fully franchised, authorised Nikkohm distributor.

Based in Japan, Nikkohm manufacture Power Resistors, Microwave Components, Precision Resistors, Current Shunts and Thermal Sensors. Their mission is to provide a saving of electric energy and clean the environment of electromagnetic energy by powering electronics through resistors.

They have the capability to manufacture 1.2 million pieces per month and can create design technology making full use of heat conduction, thermal stress, heat distribution and alloy film electric conduction technology.

Nikkohm consider their key strength to be their research and development.

Nikkohm appointed DMTL in 2015.  This was further to DMTL identifying a gap in their product offering for Power Film Resistive Products.  In addition to the Power Products, this also gained DMTL access to Nikkohm’s range of Precision and Microwave products.  Subsequently DMTL have supported clients with applications covering; audio, automotive, specialist test equipment, RF amplifiers and equipment used for government physical and life science research.
