It was founded by Wilhelm Westermann in 1948 and has been extended over the years into a leading specialist in capacitor production.

WIMA’s strength lies in the design and production of customized products requiring experience and highly developed expertise. Solutions can therefore be offered for all customer needs.

Major customer groups are in automotive, consumer and industrial electronics and lighting industry. Having a strong focus on quality and innovation.

WIMA is producing exclusively in Germany with locations in Aurich, Berlin, Mannheim and Unna and have a manufacturing capability of up to 3 million pieces per day.
